Dr. Keith Malinowski grew up admiring his chiropractor and would often visit him more than his traditional doctor when he got sick. At a young age, he realized the amazing healing powers of the body as long as you supply it with proper oxygen, water, rest, nutrient rich food, and a properly functioning nervous system – which lead him to his fascination with chiropractic.
In 2002, Dr. Keith graduated from Life University with his Doctor of Chiropractic and practiced in Georgia for several years. Following Georgia, he practiced in New York City. Three years ago he moved to the state where he was born and raised, New Jersey, to open Pt. Pleasant Chiropractic – a center that focuses on sports and family chiropractic care. He now resides in Point Pleasant, New Jersey with his wife, Kathy, and three children.

Will I be sore?
Most patients only experience a toothache-type of feeling in the area of adjustment.
Ninety percent of the time, the next day the patient feels a very positive change. It is common to feel light tingling in the hands and feet and some warmth. This is due to the release of nerve signals back to the body. Most people feel sleepy and more relaxed. Blood pressure tends to lower and white blood cells tend to rise significantly. These symptoms are due to the onset of healing following a chiropractic adjustment.
What can I do to avoid soreness and respond faster?
It is very important after your adjustments (especially after your first few adjustments) to immediately lie flat on your back for a minimum of 45 minutes. In addition, avoid postures in which your chin is down. This gives the body a chance to heal properly. You should always avoid alcohol, soft drinks and junk foods before and after an adjustment. They weaken the body. We recommend drinking 2-3 glasses of distilled or reverse osmosis water, especially after your first few adjustments.
